I offer both one-on-one private coaching consultations for anyone interested in starting a book or in the midst of writing one, and content editing consultations for anyone nearing the final stages of a completed manuscript.  Each consultation will be tailored to meet the needs of the author and his or her project, but in general we will discuss plot, characterization, dialogue, flow, overall structure, readability, point of view and tense.  While reading, I offer comments throughout the manuscript as well as an evaluation to summarize impressions, identify problems and address what it will take to move the book through the next draft.  I am happy to work with both fiction and non-fiction writers.  Consultations can take place in person or over the phone.
